Hey GingerKid,

It's ok to iso these hands preflop. However since you don't expect to have much of an equity edge with J-high there is not necessarily any reason to iso-raise to 5bb unless you expect to steal the pot a lot postflop. 3bb is often enough to iso HU vs the fish and stop the BB from freerolling.

Flop is really villain dependent, check ftFcbet stat etc. With no reads probably fine to just cbet for info that you can use in later hands.

Turn is good card to continue betting for value. Sizing is good. Vs c/r should be a straightforward fold.

I iso raise almost any playable hand vs fish (only not total trash) because in pokerstars so far I have impression that fish who limp fold to cbet flop super often, and if call once they stick to their hand. So for this guy I dont have info, but is it ok to use general stats from average player? I agree that turn is super easy fold, especially without reads.

Yup, if you think he's folding a lot preflop because of a population read then it's fine to iso-big because you expect your postflop expectation to be decent due to fold-equity.

The situations you want to avoid are iso-ing super big with hands like 54s vs an opponent who just never folds postflop. (At least, not unless the stacks are very deep).
