I'm posting this seemingly obvious hand, because after thinking about it, I'm not that sure anymore. If I run this hand on that flop vs top 5 or 10 % it looks quite good, on the other hand, villain is a reg, therefore he must have the nut low, too, maybe with better counterfeit protection or even drawing to a wheel. Things do not look that bright anymore then.
But I cannot let him draw cheaply and if I hit my flush I won't get payed later.

Are there other ways to play that hand?

Flop call is good, because you want BB in the hand. If you had any sort of high hand it would be a super easy raise (any pair or AK basically).

So something like AK3 with hearts raising is fine where your kicker can end up winning half sometimes (if villain also has A3 he doesn't automatically make a pair).

So I would call flop to keep BB in the hand, then call down once I don't improve. I don't see UTG bluffing that much on a flop like this. It's so wet he will slow down if he doesn't have A3 (fearing being freerolled) so you can still bluff him off high on a later street if he stops betting.
