First of all, fold preflop.

Your hand is too weak to play from the small blind, anything other than hitting a queen on the flop makes your hand unplayable. You risk losing your stack if the flop comes something like 872 or K88 or even three diamonds.

Once you factor in being out of position and only being able to go past the flop with a queen, there aren't enough times this happens for it to be good, and as you see, even if you hit a queen there are still plenty of bad boards. This is a leak you need to get out of your game.

As played you have two options, reraise allin or fold. If UTG is loose then shove, however if he is tight then you can fold. It's a small raise on the flop and you're blocking a set of eights, so there is reason to believe this would be kings.

I believe calling here can't be bad. You'll see the flop at least 5 way, and when you hit a good top set you are going to get payed off, even OOP, as 5way someone's bound to hit the board as well. OFC you shouldn't go broke with an 8 or your Q high FD.

The problem is, you don't hit *enough* as I stated. A queen hits on 12% of boards and a good portion of boards will have straights and flushes showing, or an ace or king. Being out of position means you will end up paying other people off when they hit and when you do bet, you will look extremely strong so it's unlikely other people will think you are bluffing against 4 opponents when first to act.

There is way too much reverse implied odds with this hand and not enough implied odds to play it profitably.
