Hello everyone! My name is Nikola; I am a 22 year old student from Serbia.
I am starting this blog in order to keep track of my progress, to speed up my progress by posting challenges ♦, to meet some guys like myself who are interested in getting better at poker and owning life, and to enable future fishes with an ambition of becoming a pro to see that that is very achievable!
So, my poker story started about two years ago, when I played the first home game with my friends. Ofc, it was a very low BI STT SNG, and we all sucked big time. I mean, our mindset was like, "oh, I got Q7o, I have to see the flop, can't fold these guys!" and stuff like that... As the time passed one of my close friends decided to try his luck on internet poker. So, he deposited and started playing random games, trying to figure out how to play poker. And after a couple of months and a couple of deposits more he got better. Then, one night, he went to a casino, dominated there, took some money, and most important thing for my story - he met his future poker coach there. My friend got the offer he couldn't refuse - to be staked and coached for a year, playing STT SNGs. After about 3 months he had spent in this program, I saw what a progress he had made and how much he was and would be able to earn by playing poker, so I said to myself "WTF, this chance appears once (maybe twice, three times for those on a life heater) in a lifetime, screw that, I'm IN!" My dear friend gave me his coach's Skype address, I contacted him, and so my journey began.
It has been a month since then, and from a complete noob, fish, poker idiot, I can already easily dominate 11$ 6max STT SNGs. ♠_cool:
Muahahha, just kidding, I am still a fishy fish, but some progress is certainly noticed. Currently, I am playing 1.10$ 6max STT SNGs on Microgaming, multitabling 4 tables at once (not enough skillz for more than that) and I am a bit above BE without rakeback.
More about my poker and life short/long term goals in the next post (some challenges I shall dominate)! Until then huggz and kissez for all (no homo), and greatest RESPECT for my coach and biggest motivator Ivicailiev77 and for the friend without whom all of this would be impossible - kobeenjo aka Steffy (he is on the forum, he is just shy and doesn't post a lot). ♦
Pozdrav! (something like 'see you' in Serbian)
