About me

Hello my name is Antony im 22 and currently a student.

I started to play poker a year back but never really got into it. And then i saw a video of a man called Chris Moneymaker winning the WSOP 2003 Main Event and thought if he could do it maybe i can do.

Im gonna start with a 75$ BR and play the $1.50 and $1 45 man MTTSng and hope to god i run good :f_biggrin:

My Goals

:club:Win $50(Done)
:club:Win $150(Done)
:club:Win $300(Done)
:club:Move up to the $2.50 180mans
:club:Play 350 Tournaments in a week(Done)
:club:Play 600 Tournaments in a week(Done)
:club:Do the px90 day Challenge(Week 2 )

I have no delusions that the road ahead of me will be easy. There will be ups, there will be downs. But aslong as i keep my chin up i know that i can make this work. And when the day comes that i can look back on this i will have no regrets.

Motivation and patience is key to success!

Good luck Hobo! =) First time I see that 3 out of 4 goals are cash, I like it. People try not to set cash goals but hey, cash is why we play, not # of hands after all

Hey Antony,

Welcome to the forum, great to see you blogging!

Setting monetary goals is usually not a good idea. One of the downsides is that due to variance, it may take a very long time to actually reach them. This could easily get you frustrated, causing you to lose motivation.

But it's all up to you of course! If you do reach your money goals quickly, it's obviously a great feeling :f_biggrin:

Good luck :f_thumbsup:

Kind regards,
Tino

With the flat call pre i put him on mid/low suited connectors. decided to float the min cbet on flop. When he checks the turn i decide to go for the thin value bet on river. Was this a profitable play in the long run?

Had a decent day but ran so bad on the final table busted twice on bubble.Six 5th places. Five 4th places. Feel like i should of done more. Games are so soft a 70%+ Roi over the long run easily attainable.

Heres todays graph. Note to self More volume needed
