[Closed] NL100 FR - A7s, FD+Gutshot

Personally, I like to play these agressively because we are not desperately behind against any hand. Call is not an option for me.
Though I am not sure whether a raise to 40$ or a direct push is better, so I'd appreciate some advice here, too. Pushing gives us much fold equity and we are going to take the pot many times without testing our luck on the turn and river. On the other hand, raising may lead to a call, and then a turn that goes check/check. If we eventually hit, we may get a call on the river and win more money than pushing directly on the flop followed by a fold.

I like to raise here (like i would if I hit trips): I don't know, why but it seems to me that the FE equity of a normal raise is often higher than a push (obviously player dependent though). Sometimes it makes me think I should push my trips and raise my big draws

nut flush draw + gut shot + A is probably an out as well+ fold equity.

Well, what do you do when you hit the A or the 7? What to do if it's top pair, what when it's second pair? What to do when you hit trips A and get action? What if you hit just a flush draw against action?

Well, I'll have to evaluate the situation and decide the best move.
I agree it could get me into some difficult spots, but that doesn't mean it can't be played profitably.
And the only way to learn how to deal with this kind of situation and improve my game is to get into these situations. Well, that's what I think.

I like calling preflop if your plan is only to give action postflop if you flop trips with a 7, 2 pair or a nutflushdraw.
Your hand is very strong on this flop so I definitely raise/call push.

I think you don't hit a really good hand often enough and even if you hit it you might be beat by a better hand. Furthermore I don't like cold calling a lot anyway. ♦
So I still vote for fold pre. But well, if you know how to handle tough spots it's ok.
