I have a hard time playing this spot, villain looked taggy. I don't know if he 3bets AK. If I flop an overpair, I often have a guessing game.

Hey Riverdiver,

Possibility you are actually behind opponents range at these stakes when he 3bets vs UTG.

Calling 3bet is fine to set-mine. Vs cbet I'd normally just fold. I don't think floating will generally be +EV here.

What do we do when we flop an overpair on a dry board? Call 1 street?

When this starts to change? I mean limit wise.

That really depends on opponents range. Also his cbetting frequency.

For example if he only 3bets AK/KK+ in this spot and he doesn't cbet AK then QQ becomes a check/fold even if we flop an overpair.

If we expect his preflop range to be a little wider due to statistical evidence, then we'd naturally float the flop at least once especially if he has a high cbet%.

At an estimate, perhaps 50nl in 6max games. Maybe higher in FR depending on the exact positions.

Generally I try and make player specific decisions rather than limit-specific decisions, but sometimes you just have no info.

I'm still calling vs 100bb at most limits anyway. Vs shorter stacks you may still be able to stack off because there is more overlay relative to effective stacks + shorter stacks may commit wider.
