Preflop: Hero is BU with Q♥, J♥. MP2 posts a blind of $0,35.
UTG calls $0,25, UTG+1 folds, UTG+2 calls $0,25, MP1 folds, MP2 checks, MP3 folds, CO calls $0,25, Hero calls $0,25, SB folds, BB checks.

Flop: ($1,70) J♣, Q♣, 9♠ (6 players)
BB checks, UTG bets $1,00, UTG+2 folds, MP2 calls $1,00, 3 folds.

Turn: ($3,70) T♠ (2 players)
UTG bets $2,00, MP2 raises to $10,67 (All-In), UTG calls $8,67.

River: ($25,04) 6♣

So I flopped Top 2 Pair, the 3rd or 4th nuts, UTG bets + 1 called and the board seems to straighty and flushy for me and with 4 outs to a FH, I wasn't leading with % odds. So I decided to fold as I only can beat a pair/overpair.

Was this play correct or should you push with 2 Pair? I didn't liked it, my gut didnt liked it and from another perspective other than SSS, i think its a tough laydown but a +EV one.

I think that in this spot you just gotta push. A flopped str8 might bet more/raise on account of the FD and when you hold top2 there is a much reduced chance of someone holding a set. The pot is also very nearly the same size as your stack. I'd need some sort of solid read to fold here.

I would push the flop. If they fold you still nearly double through. You have a chance to triple/quad through as well. UTG looks like a bit of a donk and might call anything to see the river. MP2 is agressive, if he had anything beyond a gutshot w/overcard he would re-raise.

Hi Gerv,

first of all I don't like calling QJs here but when you call preflop you must definitely go broke on this flop. you cant call on flopping the flush so this is nearly the best board.
