villain is a very bad multitabler playing 39/16 over 500 hands. he has only 25% WTSD

Hi,

flop and turn seems fine.

river is a check fold, maybe we can make a tiny bet against 2p. hes probably not calling worse nor is he betting worse.

that's the thing, by checking or betting tiny, am I not inviting him to bet 100% of his range? I have just over 1/3 pot remaining... don't I lose value by checking vs hands like JT, J9, T9

Hi,

If he had the hands you named he would have raised the turn since he would be afraid of being out drawn. So his hand range on river has little 2p.

The assumption on this player should be that he is passive and does not bluff bet often. So he's likely to check back and bet only strong hands which in this case is the straight.
