Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has K♥ Q♣

Hero raises to 3 BB, MP calls 3 BB, fold, fold, SB calls 2.5 BB, fold

Flop: (10 BB, 3 players) K♣ J♥ J♦
SB checks, Hero checks, MP bets 4 BB, SB calls 4 BB, Hero calls 4 BB

Turn: (22 BB, 3 players) J♣
SB bets 9 BB, Hero calls 9 BB, MP raises to 23 BB, SB calls 14 BB, fold

Spoiler

MP shows J♠ K♠ (Four of a Kind, Jacks) (Pre 70%, Flop 98%, Turn 100%)
SB shows K♦ T♦ (Full House, Jacks full of Kings) (Pre 30%, Flop 2%, Turn 0%)
MP wins 217.88 BB

Is turn fold ok? Should I fold when he bets 9bb? I think it is clear I will not take down the pot when he bets, so there is no point to call for a split or loose?

Hey Mlatasarb,

SB can easily have a worse boat with this line imo and you could continue vs SB.

When MP raises this texture multi-way it seems like he has a Kx at the least.

I don't think your fold is totally unreasonable or anything, but would probably call down looking for the chop, especially since SB might donate to both of you guys with worse.

Why do you think that SB would donk turn with weaker boat? It cant be QQ (I block it) and he would sqeeze it, and it would be ridiculus if he does it with TT, 99.
His stats look like tight regg, so I don't think he would make such a move.

Also I dont see how can I hope for a chop vs MP, why would he raise with Kx, when 2 guys are interested in the pot on the dry board (no sense to call with draws) and one of us could have Jx, also if he would raise with Kx I think he only manages to isolate vs Kx or Jx. So I think MP has quite often Jx and SB has almost never weaker than mine.

I just see this a lot. Villain improves to a boat. Relative hand strength has not improved, so suddenly coming out betting makes no sense. Yet guys are often like "I has a boat now, awesome!!! I bet!"

You make some decent points. You are pointing out how a good player should play Kx and responding accordingly. This might be a mistake if villain is not a good player.

I'm just assuming an unknown thinks Kx is the nuts and playing aggressively here. More combos of Kx hands than Jx hands so you potentially end up having a pot-odds call down, especially if opponent has worse hands in his range.
