[tg]SB$19.14:///////;BB$10.75:///////;MP2$10.00:///////;MP3$11.30:///////;CO$20.16:///////;BU (Hero)$11.36:///////;[/tg]

SB bets $0.35, Hero calls $0.35.

Turn: ($1.2) 5:c (2 players)

River: ($1.2) 7:h (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $0.86, SB raises to $4.20, Hero folds, SB gets uncalled bet back.

Final Pot: $2.06.

Stats:20/16/2,8/110 hands.

preflop std open for 2 bbs from Bu.

Flop is quite good for me.Villain donks I decide to call with flush draw, pot odds are good and there are some implied odds too ofc. i think he could donk by mistake or with Top pair, set ?

Turn is not goood...villain checks so I dont think he has KX...now he can have better flush draws or full house with 22 on the hand and slowplays. Cant have KK because he just called PF maybe he can have 55.

Villain check so I checked back I dont think betting does make a sense in this spot.

River completed my flush and villain checks again and that's quite strange.
i don¨t think he would check the river with value hand because we both checked the turn and he can't expect me betting river so he can¨t have ch/raise as a plan.

Anyways....he ch/raised me big and I was lost in this spot...I knew it can be bluff, because I checked turn and he can be thinking I am week in this spot then but it¨s paired board so I don¨t know....this spot is so strange...and that ch/raise is so big ....I think he can only have bad played set or quads.

I think he wouldnt ch/raise river with flush becase board is paired and he would like to go to showdown for good price.

i dont know! _mad:

Hello,

Preflop and flop are good.

I would bet this turn though.
If we had Ahxh I would be fine with checking back, but with the 9h8h I prefer to bet. The thing is, that with the ace high FD we have some showdown value but with the 9 high we are almost never ahead and we could make him fold some better hands.

As played, I would fold river after his big check/raise as well.

Best,
Plamen

I know I am a beginner but I do not like your 2 BB raise from BU it gives blinds such great odds to call with atc BB gets 5:1 if he called your 9 high on a random board is not looking so good even though you have position.you would be against two players
flop and turn ok
river when you hit your flush he checks you bet out I don't understand why no better hand will fold no weaker hand call especially with the pair on the board ,you do not know where you are anywhere in this hand so play "way ahead way behind" :f_p:

Bu open 2bb or 2.5bb is absolutely standard .It's because we have realy realy wide range on button as we have best position on the table so we dont want to make it big preflop. We want to fully use our position and play wide range agains blinds ;) We can bet so small because blinds cant call weak hands preflop without position...if the call we have position+ initiative and that's +++EV
