This is actually pretty close on the river:

Preflop, flop and turn you've played pretty much perfectly

On the river it really depends on how many combos of AT you have Check/called, in fact this turn is wierd in that you are probably going to want to x/c A9 but check/fold AT if you're trying to acheive correct alpha %

Given this I'd say that AT/AQ are the hand you should x/f on the river and AK is probably the worst hand to call with but it's very close.

The interesting thing about this hand is that because we have a strong value range, it's actualyl really hard for us to bluff at anything like the correct frequency on the turn so I actually think we should be backing off many of our pairs on the turn (rather than turning hands like A7 into bluffs which I'm not really a huge fan of)

Given that, our river range actually has a LOT of pairs and straights in so even our checking range is pretty strong now.

So overall, yeah you played this pretty much bang on if you know nothing about your opponent. I imagine that vs most opponents you would be able to x/f the river and not be too upset about it as an exploitative measure but from a balance perspective...nice one.

Turnbet is viable but checking is viable too. 6 is not the best card but as you said, still many draws and overcards and light peeling hands he could have been peeeling once or he keeps chasing his draws. gto approach against unknown is good but the 9 is actually the worst card in the card, with exception of 9♠

Unless he got a flushdraw i don't see any hand you could be still ahead of and against unknown you should more think in terms of absolute handstrenght since some donkeys they dont bet polarized on the river but sometimes they do bet with A6 for which reason ever. It's questionable whether he could have peeled KQ or KT once again or bets the Qx and Kx missed :spade:draws. For me a c/f but given 1:9,5 it might be still enough though the board became quite ugly.
