Villain 22/19/3bet 8,9/call open from BB 16%/af 2,7/fold2cb 44%/af 2,7/afq 49,31,33/turn C/R 7%/bet river after raising turn 88%(8)/wtsd 28%/w$sd 51%/20k hand

I think I should have just cbet the flop for value because if I checkback the flop my range is capped on his view.
On the turn he may play like this with 55,99,KQs,KJs and bluffs with AhJh,AhTh,JhQh and maybe JhTh.
If I checkback the flop could I ever fold on the river?

Hi,

It's one of those oh shit I'm capped and at top of my range hands and you feel like you are obligated to call but I feel like people soooo sooo rarely follow through with bluffs here. Also actually you could x back with like KTs KJs since you are obv not getting 3 streets with those hands and they are good to have in your x back range.
