Villian is a regular, 10+ multitabler
A few hands earlier I had raised SB vs BB then check raised his bet on the flop and he folded, so I decided to cbet here to make it look more like a bluff
What was the best play on the river?

BB: 4,461 (22.3 bb)
BTN: 3,464 (17.3 bb)
Hero (SB): 5,575 (27.9 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with K K
BTN folds, Hero raises to 400, BB calls 200

Flop: (875) 7 6 2 (2 players)
Hero bets 437, BB calls 437

Turn: (1,749) T (2 players)
Hero bets 874, BB calls 874

River: (3,497) J (2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets 2,725 and is all-in, Hero calls 2,725

Results:

Spoiler

8,947 pot
Final Board: 7 6 2 T J
BB showed K 9 and won 8,947 (4,486 net)
Hero showed K K and lost (-4,461 net)

Hi all,

Preflop and flop are good.

On the turn I like check/raising all-in, but just betting is fine also.

River is definitely a check/fold. We beat so little, we can't shove for value, and we can't expect our opponent to bluff his one pair hands vs our check.
