UTG: $13.15 (52.6 bb)
MP: $25 (100 bb)
Hero (CO): $25.97 (103.9 bb)

Preflop: Hero is CO with 9 T
2 folds, Hero raises to $0.75, 2 folds, BB calls $0.50

Flop: ($1.60) 2 T J (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $1.04, BB calls $1.04

Turn: ($3.68) 8 (2 players)
BB bets $2.50, Hero folds

Villain: 29/24/11,5 180 hand fold to cb: 0%(8)

Which option is better, flop cb or checkbehind?

This turn 2/3 potdonk is a kind of strong move i think. What is the best option on the turn? Fold is weak i think.

Hey PedroRobertooo,

Preflop is fine.

Cbet is fine on this texture. Checking back wouldn't be totally unreasonable, but board is drawy enough that we benefit from the protection betting gives us.

I actually don't think turn fold is that bad. We don't quite get the odds with our oesd. Also our oesd is dominated anyway. BB may hold Q9. Also there is a potential flush draw out there so we have some potential reverse implied odds on a 7:h or Q:h river. If we were actually drawing to the nuts, I'd call turn.
