PokerStars - $0.25 NL FAST (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

BTN: $34.94 (VPIP: 18.18, PFR: 6.06, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 34)
Hero (SB): $30.71
BB: $25.00 (VPIP: 23.53, PFR: 18.63, 3Bet Preflop: 12.12, Hands: 104)
UTG: $25.00 (VPIP: 23.88, PFR: 22.39, 3Bet Preflop: 14.29, Hands: 68)
MP: $25.00 (VPIP: 16.88, PFR: 15.58, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 81)
CO: $50.66

Hero posts SB $0.10, BB posts BB $0.25

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.35) Hero has T♦ K♦

fold, fold, CO calls $0.25, fold, Hero raises to $1.10, fold, CO calls $0.85

Flop: ($2.45, 2 players) T♣ 5♦ K♠
Hero bets $1.56, CO calls $1.56

Turn: ($5.57, 2 players) A♣
Hero checks, CO bets $3.75, Hero calls $3.75

River: ($13.07, 2 players) T♠
Hero checks, CO bets $8.25, Hero raises to $24.30 and is all-in, fold

Hero wins $28.24

On the turn I thought check/calling was the best option for only few hands that I beat would call a check/raise and many I don't definitely would (QJ, AT, AK). I also definitely didn't wanted to get raised, so...

My question is: what could villain be betting so confidently in this board? If instead of the T the river was a brick, is this an easy call?

I'm surprised at how often I bluff catch villains with complete rags at this limit. Other times I embarrass myself. It's been a coin flip so far.

Thanks a lot :)

Hi

Checkcall down turn and river is fine. Sometimes he value bets worse (AX) and sometimes he turns TX into a bluff.

That is, if u are vs a reg.

Vs this fish the best line is clearly to barrel thrice. He is def gonna call u down with all AX and some KX and he is gonna be on the passive side so checking to merge your range is not a good idea.
