Wow, I'm feeling like my entire world is changing. I'm new to this whole online poker experience & so far it's been a blast. I've started off my journey with no deposits basically all "freerolls". I learned about this site from "Poker770", I was wanting to enroll in their Poker Strategy freeroll; got to this site & learned a ton of new things. Signed up for the whole "free money" thing. Currently waiting on it to be transferred into my betfred account. If this is legit this will be the ultimate online poker test for me.

Has anyone went far with there free money from this site?

If so what is a decent goal to set for a month play. $30?

Hey,

I can tell you for sure the money is legit. I got free money on poker770 and I built it up pretty well, but lost it all playing blackjack

That's why I only play at stars lol because they don't have those online casino games :f_biggrin: :f_biggrin: :f_biggrin:

And welcome to the poker world _biggrin: and a decent goal to set for a month play for beginners is probably 10 hours a week and then go from there.

Hi, ragingcater

Welcome to PokerStrategy.com !

Yes, there have been several players who turned their free money into decent bankrolls. Sadly, I'm not one of them _cry:

As for goals for the first month, I would set the goals a little differently.

Why not set goals for how many strategy articles you will read (and apply) and how many videos you will watch?

Set goals also for how many hands you will play.

Somewhere here I think I read something about what portion of your time you should spend studying, and how much of your time you should spend playing.

In the early stages, it is more study than play.

Have you checked out the new course layout

It is an excellent way to organize your study.

Best of luck,

Hey thanks for the great response's. I appreciate it.

I'm used to playing live poker more so than online. I agree with your goals completely those are in fact very adequate goals for one to achieve before depositing anything.

I've been reading a lot of poker books in PDF format just off my computer. With Christmas around the corner all I really asked for was some books on poker theory & strategy. I will probably never stop learning the game of poker.
