Not sure what to think about this hand, but I believe I played that one pretty poorly. One thing I notice right away is that my betsizing on the flop was way off. Other than that, I assume I should have been more aggressive on the turn (bet/call? bet/broke? check/raise?).
Also, would it have been okay to play for stacks on the flop if any of my opponents had shown aggression?

Merry Christmas everyone! :f_love:

I don't think we have to donk here. We scare some worse hands out of the hand anf if there is raise we are in difficult situation because we are probably behind with good hand. If we play check/call here on flop we achieve that we have probably good price to call plus there might be some bets with hand worse than our is. On the river i don't think it is worth to bet. It is better just to check/raise. If villain have some sort of weak flush or straight he will probably bet in he will hardly fold to your raise. If you donks like that he might just call with weaker flush or straight. I hope it makes sense :f_cool:.

I have to admit that I'm not even sure anymore what I tried to accomplish in this hand, my line is really all over the place. :f_biggrin: But I agree, a check probably would have been the better choice.
Do you think a check/raise would have been an option, too? There is a chance that top pair is good enough already, and if it isn't, we'd still have 9 clean outs for the nut flush. I think I'd actually prefer this line over a check/call.

Btw, what do you think about my turn play? My check/call seems a little weird, I think I should have either folded or tried to play for stacks.

Yeah, I agree. I guess I was hoping for a big ace to pay me off, but even then, a check/raise probably would have been the better option.

Thanks for taking the time to look through my hands, much appreciated! :f_grin:

After we donked flop it is a bit weird and it looks like we are on some sort of flush or bluff. Definitely we cannot fold here. His sizing is less than half of the pot and we can never fold here. Also betting again on the turn is a good option. Somehow i don't like check raise since i don feel comfortable with turning our hand into a semibluff.

Thank you. You are very welcome. I am of course not as good as judges but i try to do my best :f_cool:
