I am hoping i have calculated this correctly but even if i put him on a set or worse, a 2 pair type hand with his Turn bet, am i getting the right odds to call this.

Any thoughts on a reraise on turn, or better to call behind and evaluate the River?

Hey there kolonel71,

i made some calculations for you. i hope this will answer your question.

First of all you have to ask yourself what is his range. After that you can decide what move is the best in particular case.

Here are the pot odds on the turn.

Pot is 0.37$. Villain bets $0.22.

So we have to call 0.22 to win 0.81. So we need better equity than 27%. If you consider here also implied odds our equity can be even lower to make this call profitable.

Here i will run few examples:

Villain has: A :heart:Q :diamond:

Board: Q♥2♥3♣ 9♦
       Equity     Win     Tie
MP2    31.82%  31.82%   0.00% { JhTh }
MP3    68.18%  68.18%   0.00% { AhQd }

Villain has: 3 :diamond:3 :spade:

Board: Q♥2♥3♣ 9♦
       Equity     Win     Tie
MP2    29.55%  29.55%   0.00% { JhTh }
MP3    70.45%  70.45%   0.00% { 3d3s }

Villain has: A :heart:K :heart:

Board: Q♥2♥3♣ 9♦
       Equity     Win     Tie
MP2    27.27%  27.27%   0.00% { JhTh }
MP3    72.73%  72.73%   0.00% { AhKh }

So as you may see in all of those cases calling is profitable. If we also add some implied odds calling is even more profitable in the long run. So i think this is like perfect spot for calling. If we have simmilar case on flop there is no problem to raise and go broke with it.

I hope i answered your question

Good luck. :f_cool:
