probably up against a set here . at time i was thinking about a similar hand the other day where i got it in on the turn w/ NFD and it was said that it would be better to get it in on the flop. i guess i could just take those odds when he raises

Hi legand73

Preflop: looks fine

Postflop: While you can get it in on the flop versus aggro players this guy doesn't seem to be that aggresive with ck/raises.

So unless you can expect him to raise worse FDs or hands like T9/65 and then ship them I wouldn't go stack off here.

And since we have position and BTN is out of the hand we can flat and take it to the turn.

looking back i do like flatting instead of shoving. I don't really have much of a grasp on when i can stack off. i think i was hoping that worse FDs and yeah hands like T9, 65, and also hoping that an A might be an out vs overpairs but all in all ithink i got a bit trigger happy in this hand

First consideration is that this started MW and people generally shy away from raising in these pots as they give your cbets more respect (which they should). Also they tend to raise less draws.

Then we play 20nl where people are generally not overaggro with weak draws and everything points in the direction of potential overplay on the flop.

I do have to give it to you though, your min 3-bet is great and can actually induce a bit.
