Preflop: looks fine

Postflop: given his bet size he is most likely on a weak hand that's taking a stab. Given we are OOP we'd hate to check/call here and have the turn go ck/ck so turning the hand into a semibluff is good. We can even make Kx and weak Ax fold.

that's cool. i think i'm starting to get more of a feel for good spots to be raising as it's something i never used to do.

what do you think we should do if a non diamond T hit on the turn?. I'd probably want to bet/fold

Him calling the flop isn't great at all so I agree that bet/folding is best. he has sets/2p in his calling range and teh nut flush (for strong hands) along with some draws.
