flop line

Hi,

when he donks so little i'd assume it's the nuts, so i would just call. He might check with a str8 a paired turn or something, allowing you to potentially bluff him etc... I see no reason to raise here, you are either flipping or way behind, but almost never ahead of his donk/stackoff range.

And on a side note, by raising him this big you are isoing yourself even more vs hands that crush u

How would we play the same spot against an agressive villain? one that would donk more often and continue firing in blank turns cuz our range is weak?

It would be raise flop to simplify or call flop raise turn?

I know it's an hypotetical villain but I believe some regs could be that kind of player.

Such regs don't often have such a small stack. Lets assume it anyway, I think we should raise if the donk bet frequency is a bit higher than 10%
Don't know for sure though.

If it's lower I'd just call with the plan to chB turn. If villain checks turn I don't think we should bluff with this hand, no matter what card falls. We have a lot of SDV and great EQ against all busted draws.

i would still just call. I'd do it with the nuts as well. When you are IP you want to force the OOP player to play as many streets as possible vs you. If we raise here he can end the hand on the flop, making it very easy for him to play. If we just call however, he has to think which cards hit us ott and which didn't.
