villian had KK here withoud a redraw. my question: in his shoes would u b/f turn or! like one hand posted in the german community people would c/f turn because my range after calling otf is highly the str8draw. so the would c/f to a big bet

what do u think here?

Hi,

i'd bet the turn bigger and prob call it off if i'd be getting near the odds to the straight. (near because i assume he could ship a lower set + fd and i'm way ahead of those hands). There are some straightdraws in your hand for sure, but only the guthsto straight got there, and he did make only a small flop raise so it's totally possible you are calling much wider than ATxx here, that i really a small part of your range.

okay ty

does ure assumptions changes when he raise bigger otf and the oesd hits the turn? would u play with ure set KK also b/c?

i asked because like i said there is a similar hand in the german community and most of them like that villian (he had set there) c/f the turn. I didnt like it so much because i would b/c often. But the coach there said some true things about the calling range otf. thats why i´m asking

Hi,

it depends on what you assume the calling range is. It's definetly scarier whent the OESD hits after you pot bet, but on the other hand people are not jamming QQxx here all the time either otf, fearing KKxx. The equities become very close here.

In the showed hand hero doesn't even have top set and the turn bring the oesd and hero c/c's. I don't like the line. I think it can be very exploitable if villain folded his hand in your case for sure. Different story if the A or 9 hits obviously. Then i can get behind a c/f.
