I 3bet this hand because I think i can make him spew when I hit.

Is it ok line with value hands like this which dont have 3 streets of value to cbet small flop to keep his wide range and then bluff catch?

PF: Is this some sort of read-based play? With 50 hands I don't think you can justify this play too much especially when he seems like a normal reg. I guess based on the results he does seem to be defending overly wide vs you.

F: same recurring theme, you bet small with something and are you betting large with nothing? Definitely going to give away some tells with your imbalanced bet-sizes. Small bets make sense on AXX and KXX flops cos it's hard to float with undercards but here I think you should just half pot with your entire betting range.

It is a population based read, I dont get folds vs 3bet almost at all.

I check buttom of range and cbet equity hands as bluff and value this way, I dont bet big unless board is draw heavy when I always bet big with whole cbet range.

I agree Axx and Kxx are really hard to float, but on those boards opponents range hits much better than on small cards dry boards, so when I cbet on small card boards, I expect floats and thats why I continue barreling when I pick up equity or scare card comes, and sometimes also c/c value hands to trap floaters.

i think your definition of "draw heavy" is very different from what it should be.

You should bet small when villain's calling range is betsize inelastic (it doesn't change very much when you decrease the bet size)

You should bet large when villain's calling range is elastic

The lower the board, the more elastic villain's calling range will be. So if you bet 1/3 pot on T55r, even though it's dry, you're getting floated by all broadways no matter what. Which is probably like 80%+ of villain's PF calling range vs the 3-bet. At most he folds his 89s (which may even float here with backdoor stuff)

Isnt it great when his range on turn is 80% ? Then I can punish him with c/c, c/r with draws and strong, give up some low equity hands and barrel some value hands and bluffs since his range is so weak? What is he going to do vs 2nd and 3rd barrel which is also 30% pot with his weak range?

it's good if you want to fire multiple barrels. but I prefer having villain just fold everything on the Flop. I don't see any inherent advantage in making small bets getting floated by wide ranges. You just have to play more streets OOP with very little info on villain's range.
