Question 6

Blinds 400/800
CO 3200
BU 700
SB 5300
Hero 4300

Preflop: Hero is BB with AJ
1 fold, BU pushes all-in for 700, SB pushes all-in for 5300, Hero???

You assume the BU pushes a wide range here and also that the SB realizes this and shoves about 85% of the time.

What do you do?

fold (0 Points)
call (1 Points)

Your answer fold (0 Points)

16.9%, 55+ A3s+ A7o+ KTs+ KJo+

Do I not fold as 2nd in chips to a shove from the chipleader on the bubble? Or did make a wrong assumption thinking it was the bubble? BU is all-in and I have the player that is not in the hand covered. Should I not fold in stead of call for a 60-40 or possibly a coin flip? Even if I have way the best hand, I understand the chip+EV here, but is this $+ev?

Thanks in advance.

For you to loose, both players need to beat you (Button needs to win, and SB needs to end up 2nd best). So a push is best here imo.

Ofc, makes sense. thanks :)

8 of 10.
Feel that a lot of playing and studying of the ICM and the special cases have helped me a lot in these descitions.

A6o is a strange fold with <1BB stack, wonder what hand you're waiting for to gamble with?
