CO: 81.1 BB (VPIP: 37.84, PFR: 18.92, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 39)
Hero (BTN): 101 BB
SB: 78 BB (VPIP: 38.89, PFR: 17.46, 3Bet Preflop: 1.92, Hands: 127)
BB: 193.7 BB (VPIP: 47.37, PFR: 47.37, 3Bet Preflop: 33.33, Hands: 19)
UTG: 100 BB (VPIP: 10.34, PFR: 10.34, 3Bet Preflop: 8.33, Hands: 29)
MP: 75.5 BB (VPIP: 40.00, PFR: 20.00, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 15)

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has J♥ A♥

fold, fold, fold, Hero raises to 2.5 BB, fold, BB raises to 9 BB, Hero calls 6.5 BB

Flop: (18.5 BB, 2 players) 8♦ A♠ T♦
BB bets 12 BB, Hero raises to 31 BB, BB calls 19 BB

Turn: (80.5 BB, 2 players) T♠
BB checks, Hero checks

River: (80.5 BB, 2 players) 3♣
BB bets 153.7 BB and is all-in, fold

BB wins 76.9 BB

preflop: pretty standard I think. sometimes I 4bet here when the guy 3bets too much from blinds but I do not know this guy, so I just called

flop: now I am not quite confident here ... I get into so many hands like this and I loose a lot of money because I call according to the standard but they show many times two pairs or better kicker. If I had AK I would 4bet preflop
I do not like calling with AK. I either fold or shove. (which I do not know either that it is ok or not)
So this is a reason why I 3bet here, my new plan here is the bet fold.

turn: since he called I gave it up.

river: he either has a very strong hand or nothing. I think I can never call this on the river.

His hand on river could be : Axs, AT, AKs , AA,

Do you think since I have position I should have just bet on turn?

thanks

Hi pityumeszi

Preflop: looks fine

Postflop: So, based on your plan, you are actually trying to bluff with AJ here? With TP?

Why exactly?

Raise/folding doesn't really make that much sense unless you expect all better to 3-bet and all worse to call.

I can see you raising for value vs weaker Ax and draws. And in that case you continue betting on all cards.

If you are afraid of being dominated don't call preflop.

If you call, simply call flop and play from there.

May be I am less confident on the limit especially in big pots. There is 50000 played hand behind me on this limit and it is break-even. I do not understand. I try to work on my game a lot ... may be I sould be looking some improvement on the mental side.

thanks anyway!
