We don't WANT him to fold, but the flop is an action killer.
If we bet, and he does, fine, we can accept that.
If he does NOT fold, then he defines his hand for us, does he not?
If we don't bet the flop, can we ever expect to be able to win this pot?
--Other than by doing what villain did?
How often to we have to be ahead to call the river?
How often does villain have to be folding to make raising the river profitable?
How much more credibility do we have if we bet the flop -- or even delay our CBet til the turn?
I'm asking -- as I said, I don't play at this limit.
