Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has K♥ Q♥

fold, Hero raises to 3 BB, fold, fold, fold, BB calls 2 BB

Flop: (6.5 BB, 2 players) 5♥ T♠ J♦
BB checks, Hero checks

Turn: (6.5 BB, 2 players) K♠
BB bets 5 BB, Hero raises to 10 BB, BB calls 5 BB

River: (26.5 BB, 2 players) 2♠
BB bets 21 BB, fold

BB wins 25.5 BB

Hit a draw on the flop, didn't bet?
Hit top pair on the turn - villain bet, I raised and was called - Did I bet too small?
River - he hit a flush in my mind or possibly the straight - I felt folding was the best think to do???

Not betting the flop is fine.

You have great equity, but the double broadway flop hits his range well, he often has a T or a J that isn't folding ever to a flop bet.

Then on any turn with your equity, you can always call a bet. Or if it gets checked to you, you can bet and rep a weak J or Tx and most likely take the bot down there.

When the K comes on the turn, I see no reason to you raise. When you raise you are narrowing his range down. Taking away all the bluffs and leaving the value hands.

So, I'd definitely call the turn and not raise. You're hand just isnt strong enough to raise for value. The raise is far too small though, if raising something around 18bb makes more sense. With the raise so small, he has the equity to call with any shitty draw he may be bluffing with.

River fold is fine.

Hey Craigsy633,

Preflop is fine.

Flop check in position is fine. I doubt a bet can ever be terrible though with 2 overs and oesd.

I agree with jules97 here don't really see a reason for the turn raise here. I would call and evaluate on the river - usually just calling river bet also rather than doing anything else.

As played we can fold vs river lead.
