PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, 30 Tournament, 15/30 Blinds (6 handed) - PokerStars Converter Tool from http://www.flopturnriver.com/

Hero (MP) (t1,405)
CO (t1,535)
Button (t1,590)
SB (t1,320)
BB (t1,740)
UTG (t1,410)

Hero's M: 31.22

Preflop: Hero is MP with Q, J
1 fold, Hero raises to t75, 1 fold, Button calls t75, 2 folds

Flop: (t195) 4, 7, 7 (2 players)
Hero bets t110, Button raises to t220, Hero raises to t1,330 (All-In)

Villain is a reg, not much specific history but his raise cbet is 25-30% so with that in mind I think he is always full of shit here, now the question is, is my play too spewy with just 2 overs (which might even be compromized) and a bdfd?

Stats:

22/17/2.2 aggr f/27% raise cbet (20 occasions)

He might have decent amount of pockets to go for raise-call and some flush draws. Most of those flush draws are going to be with better high card value.

One option might be to go for click back 3bet, if you assume he is doing this with lot of air. But other problem is going to be his flatting range preflop. Does he have enough broadways or suited connector type in his range? I would think hands like AT+ would often just flat from position.

his line is a bit suspect.. but do you know enough about his pre-flop flatting range ? Is he the type to flat speculative hands vs you IP? or is it always value-flatting with AJ or trapping AA. With more information I would approve of this play (or with shorter stacks). With just those stats and reads I would bet/fold and give him credit this one time.

Imo it's not only about proving who has a better nothing, it's also about not getting run over in the future.

Well I would think he would just flat his PPs, but that's a general assumption and not a specific read. Would you turn your PP into a bluff then?

Of course I thought about clicking it back as well but do we really want to r/f such a big pot after that, because imo he might be more inclined to come over the top with Ax type hands. Thoughts?

His call open is at 12% from the button, so without any specific reads I would say 22-99, ATo-AQo, A9s-AQs, KJo/KQo, KTs-KQs, QJo, QTs-QJs, JTs ? His 3b from BUT is at 4%.

He actually folded and he did the same thing again the next hand on a dry one high card board (I had TT) and again he folded, so with that information now it's an ok play right?

I would assume he doesn't have that much Ax hands. Beside nut flush draws he is going to stack off with. At least I would tend to just flat most Ax I defend preflop as it has enough showdown value.

If BU wants to raise bluff this sort of flop then he should also raise as induce with quite a few pockets. So he would be value raising them and not bluffing. Versus ABC reg raising hand like 88 would be bluffing, but if he induces enough air to come over then its fine. Otherwise his raising range is simply too unbalanced. If he doesn't raise those then what else does his range contain beside air, some flush draws and sometimes preflop slowplayed big pocket?

IMO quite a few has balls to come over with air hands, if we clickback. He will continue with those value hands and flush draws usually.

obv you now have really good information on him. you should 3bet jam 100% of your range every time he tries this play on these dry boards (until he adjusts).

Even without any equity?

yeah. I think the EV from his high bluff freq in this spot is good enough to just rejam 100%. You just have to be careful once he starts adjusting and adding value hands into this line. My point is that at the moment our reads are showing that he folds 100% in this spot, so the play is obvious.

He seems like a very 1 level thinking reg. Until he shows us otherwise, we have an easy exploit opportunity.
