NL2 6max zoom

BB: $3.21
UTG: $1.85
UTG+1 (MP): $1.32
CO: $2.00
BTN: $2.01
HERO: $2.00

Pre Flop: ($0.03) Hero is SB with 4 :diamond: 4 :spade:
3 folds, BTN raises to $0.06, Hero calls.

Flop: ($0.14) 6 :club:A :diamond:6 :diamond: (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $0.09.

No info about the opp.

Shall Hero call? And check/fold turn?

Hi paukuk,

You actually have low pair only on the flop. BTN raised. You lose to any Ax or suited connectors 6x.

Without further info on BTN it is a clear fold.

Rule of thumb. When playing small pocket pairs play check/fold when not hitting a set on the flop.

Hope this helps

Hi,

In general you can just ch/fold this against unknown. If you had some stats that indicate he isn't going to a SD lot and he folds a lot to cbets or so then you could just ch/raise flop to fold out his hands that have equity versus you and might even second barrel, like KJ/KT/KQ, QJ..... We don't want to go into ch/call guessing game on NL2 versus unknown, though.

I think just check/fold here. You have no info on opponent and also you are out of position. I think it's a weak play to call and then check/fold turn
