Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

Play hand

$0.1/$0.25 No-Limit Hold'em (6 handed)

Known players:
[tg]BU$87.81:///////;SB$36.73:///////;BB$70.33:///////;MP2$43.22:///////;MP3$13.91:///////;CO (Hero)$26.67:///////;[/tg]

Preflop: Hero is CO with J:h, J:c.
2 folds, Hero raises to $0.75, BU raises to $2.25, 2 folds, Hero calls $1.50.

Flop: ($4.85) 7:d, T:s, 6:c (2 players)
Hero checks, BU bets $2.50, Hero calls $2.50.

Turn: ($9.85) 5:c (2 players)
Hero checks, BU checks.

River: ($9.85) Q:c (2 players)
Hero checks, BU bets $6.75, Hero folds, BU gets uncalled bet back.

Final Pot: $9.85.

BU is 20/13/1.7 3bet=3.6% so far over 181 hands.

Preflop: He's a tight 3-bettor so I don't think 4-bet/calling is an option here. My hands is too good to 4bet/fold I think so I decided to call OOP and try to flop a set or play a small pot.

Flop: No set but a dry flop, so I plan to check/call once and give up.

Turn: doesn't change much, at this point I would check/fold against another bet since I don't think he'll be betting with less then QQ+. However he checks behind... missed AK maybe AQ?

River: Q is not a good card considering his tight 3betting range. So I don't think we can bet for value on this river. So we play it very weak and check again and at this point villain bets rather big on the river. Could he have hit AQ or is he bluffing AK or trying to get some more value with KK-AA he checked behind on the turn for pot control?

I really hate these pots with JJ against such tight players... Fold preflop OOP? :f_biggrin:

Hi Zeffke

Preflop: given he is a tight 3-better you can even fold preflop OOP. Definitely don't want to 4-bet bluff this hand vs a guy like him

Postflop: As played what checks back turn that bets river that we are afraid off? Maybe AQ? But a tight 3-better may not have that.

And AK, the other likely hand can bluff now because the Q is a scare card.
