PokerStars - $0.50 Ante $0.10 PL Hi (6 max) - Omaha Hi - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

Hero (SB): 341.32 BB
BB: 367.2 BB (VPIP: 39.73, PFR: 15.75, 3Bet Preflop: 3.17, Hands: 149)
UTG: 259.38 BB (VPIP: 39.11, PFR: 7.26, 3Bet Preflop: 2.75, Hands: 254)
MP: 127.98 BB (VPIP: 28.85, PFR: 19.23, 3Bet Preflop: 10.79, Hands: 315)
CO: 772 BB (VPIP: 33.92, PFR: 21.47, 3Bet Preflop: 11.39, Hands: 3,461)
BTN: 769.4 BB (VPIP: 34.93, PFR: 27.95, 3Bet Preflop: 21.67, Hands: 463)

Villain is fishy, 11 fold to cbet (2/19), 38 fold to cbet turn.. AF Flop <1, Turn <1, River 3.5.
Generally sticky, hates folding.

Hero posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB, 6 players post ante of 0.2 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 2.7 BB) Hero has 8♥ 9♥ 7♦ 5♠

fold, fold, CO raises to 3 BB, fold, Hero calls 2.5 BB, BB calls 2 BB

Chose not to 3bet as PFR is somewhat decent and can make my life hell OOP deep. Would have 3bet without gap and doublesuited.

Flop: (10.2 BB, 3 players) 5♦ 9♣ 2♥
Hero checks, BB bets 9.74 BB, fold, Hero raises to 32 BB, BB calls 22.26 BB

Decided to c/r because I can. Leading seems fine, c/c idk, c/r seems fair. I expect people to post that they prefer a lead though :)

Turn: (74.2 BB, 2 players) J♥
Hero bets 60 BB, BB calls 60 BB

Never folding after bet (right?)

River: (194.2 BB, 2 players) 7♠
Hero checks, BB bets 189.2 BB, Hero calls 189.2 BB

yayayayaya. looks like a snapfold on the 7, but I block the wrap and idk if he'd pot the non-nut straight. I think he can have T8 but usually it's the lower straight.
What could he bluff with? A lot I think, since he is so sticky and calls flop way to light. Turn he could've called with hearts or pair, w/e. A bit unfortunate that even some of his 2pairs which he might turn into a bluff beat me here. Looks like a fold, I decided for a call because of the player type and his instant pot bet which I interpreted as a bluff.
May the hating begin.

okay i try..

i think i still would 3b pre. people will play more str8forward imo.

anyway as played:

i like the craise otf. turn bet dunno if we have to stack off if someone like this guy with this af shoves here. you both are very deep

river...fish like to call with everything and they never fold a gutter on the flop and ott thats why i dont know. well his af increase otr u check the river to induce a bluff? i really dont know if i would bet river myself or c/f here too tricky

.

Hi,

3betting 350deep with 9 high is asking for trouble, so i like the call.

I'd probably c/c the flop. I hate making big pots OOP; the SPR is like 100000000 here otf, and it's so much easier for our opponent to play than for us.

Turn you'd have to call a raise probably... It depends if you think he has any draws in his reraising range. If his reraising range is J9xx with redraw +, then it's a fold.

River i understand the willingness to call cause villain is super polarized, but he did call a pot c/r and a big turn bet, so he HAS to have something; he either has sd value which he is checking behind, or he has the nuts here, potting for value cause they were unlikely.

It's tough for me to see a hand that a) calls flop raise, and b) is turned otr into a bluff. Maybe some A345, but that's such a small part of his range.

Regards,

Skod

i actually still feel quilty about the hand, that's why i posted in the first place. what you said is exactly what i thought. i was somewhat tilted and he also just snap potted it, which smelled extremely fishy. i called very quick then and saw

Spoiler

A234

, but still feel a bit bad about it :f_frown:
