AJ facing MP push

Not fancy calling here... if i would be BB and opponent on BTN or SB i would snapcall without even thinking, tho in this position ur in a flip most of the time. He will push 22+, Ax i guess.

My thoughts: The stack sizes are such that you need to have a clear edge over his shoving range to call here.

His range should be pair heavy here + A9s + ATo+ KJs+ KQo - if your assessment is that he is a reg i would remove smaller aces from his range. If he is smt like 42/33 i am snap calling AJ here since he will have these small aces then.

As played I would fold as well - if he was the CO i am snap calling.

I would call JJ+ AQs+ AKo here vs HJ shove - i am pretty sure this is tight but it should be well ahead of his range.

You hand AJo really shines vs worst aces and i do not think he has enough of these in his range there. (Villian is reggish 27/16 stats)

Meanwhile if you double him up - you are left with 2BB and blinds coming your way.

I am definitely not gonna go as tight here as JJ+, AQs, AK. 27/16 is quite fishy stats btw, unless it's a small sample, I don't expect a reg to have stats like this ever.

If we face a reg player, I expect him to play a range similar to nash. So because of this, I am calling nash. Which is this case is 99+,AJs+,AQo+. Ofc it does matter how the blinds behind will react, so we need to them into consideration also if they are likely to do something out of line.

If we face a fish, then we need to the right adjustments again. If he's a 35/27 type of player, I will definitely expand my nash range and call lighter here. I will prolly go something like 77+,ATs+,AJo+

If he's a passive tight fish such as 22/5, then I will definitely be very tight.

Vs this guy, I tend to call something similar to nash not because he looks like a reg, but because I believe his push range is gonna be similar.

P.s. this forum is for everything up to 27 player(excluding HU) and including 6-max 65:35, 70:30, 9/10-man 50:30:20, double or nothing and more
