Pre-flop I called the 3-bet as this player was pretty solid (although I didn't have many hands on him), decided against a 4-bet (which I think was a mistake.

On the flop I hit TPGK, looking at this hand now it is pretty obvious but at the time I was in position and felt it was to good to fold, not good enough to raise.

Bad play I know but when should I realise when should I realise my hand is no good? On the donk flop? Turn or river?

HiCraigsy633

Preflop: why call with such small sample? you have no reason to believe he is solid and playing this OOP vs a big 3-bet is not fun. So either fold or 4-bet pre imo.

Postflop: as played you don't generally call hands like this to flop TP and fold. The river card is bad but you have so little behind that it's hard to fold.
