I actually felt that I played this hand ok
- 3-bet pre-flop I thought was ok
- Flop - I was betting for protection from the flush draw
- Turn - I hit trips with good kicker so was going for value. His re-raise all-in was an easy call for me as I planned to shove on the river anyway.
In terms of his range, he was on the button so I was figuring any Broadway, I ruled out QQ-JJ (as he would have re-raised), but figured he would call with any lower pair down to 22.
On the flop I was worried about KQ, but when a K hit the turn I figured it was less likely.
Did I play the turn correctly? I couldn't check but I was pot committed by the turn bet and actually I was way behind.
