Villain is 23/16/1.2

IPoker, $0.05/$0.10 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 4 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite.

SB: $12.48 (124.8 bb)
Hero (BB): $14.70 (147 bb)
CO: $11.34 (113.4 bb)
BTN: $8.07 (80.7 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 8 8
2 folds, SB raises to $0.20, Hero calls $0.10

Flop: ($0.40) 4 8 6 (2 players)
SB bets $0.28, Hero raises to $0.70, SB folds

Results:

Spoiler

$0.96 pot ($0.06 rake)
Final Board: 4 8 6
SB mucked and lost (-$0.48 net)
Hero mucked 8 8 and won $0.90 ($0.42 net)

Thinking now that suited aces probably only make up small percentage of his range, so probably better off calling with less need to protect that if I was PFR. Maybe call river and bet/raise turn IP would have helped me get more value?

Hey Bennisboy,

Preflop call is fine.

Flop raise is decent on this texture, it's pretty drawy when we consider SB can potentially be opening wide. Don't overthink this just because SB folded, this is a pretty standard flop raise.
