PokerStars - $6.85+$0.15|10/20 NL (2 max) - Holdem - 2 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

Hero (BB): 27 BB
SB: 23 BB (VPIP: 66.67, PFR: 33.33, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 3)

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, Hero posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has J♣ 4♣

SB raises to 2 BB, Hero calls 1 BB

Flop: (4 BB, 2 players) 7♥ 3♥ J♥
Hero bets 3 BB, SB calls 3 BB

Turn: (10 BB, 2 players) A♥
Hero checks, SB checks

River: (10 BB, 2 players) K♠
Hero checks, SB checks

Would have folded J3s pre so this is the absolute bottom of my calling range. I lead flop because I don't think I'm getting called by worse if I check/raise and I don't want to check/call either since there's plenty of turn cards that either kill my action or my hand.

Should I be calling a jam on the flop? Fold on the turn if he bets?

Hello shAdOwArt,

Call pre flop is fine.

I'd just check call on the flop, unless I have some sort of reads on my opponent.

Why not c/r on the flop? There are plenty of worse hands that continue. No Jx is folding to a c/r, and any 9hXo would call or shove over a c/r.

Maybe you missread the hand, but hero has no kicker.
