Hi, all SNG players...
I have not played STTs since I first started, but I'm having a go at them, starting w/ the nano-stakes.

So far, I'm doing OK, but I need to work on my HU play.

What is the best material on PokerStrategy.com for that?

Most of the time, at these limits, we're nowhere near push/fold when it comes to HU.

I suspect that at higher stakes, it is push/fold long before HU.

Thanks,

Hi VorpalF2F,

I suggest just watching some HU hyper videos to get a good hold on playing with 15-30bb. That's what I used to improve my HU game and eventually moved to HU hyper games. I will post you a link of what is available on pokerstrategy.com regarding these games:

The one with ZZztilt is a really good one-Bramninc can also be helpful.

Best of luck!

Thanks, I just watched the ZzzTilt video.

A bit above my pay grade, but quite interesting anyway.
The biggest differences I see is that
I almost never limp -- a habit from cash games, I guess
  I fold stuff like 72o

Thanks,

My default strategy in HU with most opponents is to minraise close to any2. Unless history recommends otherwise. Especially if you have tight reads on villain from earlier game. Idea is to abuse villain tightness. E.g. if there is no ante you invest 1.5bb to win blinds. So if villain folds over 50% of hands you will make auto profit by minraising any2.

If villain calls a lot and doesn't want to fold to cbet or if he 3bets lot then you want to tighten opening range a bit and add some hands to limping range. But as default I don't use limping that much as you then allow villain to realize equity of hands with free flops that he would likely fold to minraise.

I had been using 2.5x

I'll try minraising to see if I notice anything.
