Hi,
What would you put villian on these hands? Would you call here?

Hand 1

I checked back flop to induce on turn , since flop was fairly dry and the general population seems to be limp calling and folding flops.

most importantly, you are definitely cbetting too much. think about it :f_biggrin:

at hands
#1 fold (just because was the first hand, would call after he did it a few times)
#2 definitely call, specially after he did that once (might be his favorite bluff line, and he can definitely even be valuebetting worse)
#3 fold (you don't need to defend that low, specially since you still didn't even see what he does it with)

Missing the cbet w/ top pair could be a good idea when
:club: Flop is dry and villain is likely to fold on the flop
:club: Flop is dry and villain is not likely to call w/ a worst hand
:club: Flop is dry, we are IP and villain is likely to bluff the turn

Here we don't fall in any of these assumtpions. The oppo is a limper, he's a fish, so he's likely to call w/ a lot of weaker hands on the flop (just think abuot all the weak Ax which he's limp/calling and he's not likely to bluff the turn. So just cbet for value ;) Of course by checking it' possible to get value on later streets, but definitely I would prefer to cbet the flop and bet either the turn or the river depending on the board.

As played, ok calling the turn. You can also raise 4value probably, but that's not the point here. On the river is an easy fold

#2

Think carefully to what's the aim of your flop cbet. You're betting to collect dead money, then forget about the SD value of the pair later in the hand (except you turn the set). On the turn, definitely bet big. Lot of draws are now possible, just get the value: he's 93/0 you definitely don't need "out of the box" lines against him. Play straightforward.

The river is sick, but as played you need to call :)

#3

fold (you don't need to defend that low, specially since you still didn't even see what he does it with)

+1

He might be bluffing now, but I never want to bluffcatch or herocall against a random fish :)
