I folded on the flop thinking he probably has AA QQ JJ or some random QJs since i think that people at this level just dont do that kind on move with AQ

What do you know about the player here? He is likely a fish given his limp preflop and since you bet only 1/2 on the flop he could try to bluff or raise thinner.
So first I'd bet bigger on the flop and if he is indeed a passive fish I'd fold. Otherwise I'd call to keep his bluffs in there.
