I feel like i played this hand terribly. We were deep on the flop and the guy has quite tight stats, i'm not sure if i should be going for raise raise broke on the flop or take into consideration what he could have.
His line does look like a pocket pair (limping then calling) but im really not sure what my thought should be behind this.

My thoughts were "if i raise again he's folding all slowplayed over-pairs, all 10x hands (apart from 10's) and maybe even 2 pair hands (which i wont see often).

Sorry i know my thoughts are all over the place, if you could bring some structure and logic to my thinking i would appreciate it

Hi DecMate

Preflop: looks fine

Postflop: First, I would say there is no way a nit like him would limp AA/KK/QQ and then raise the flop to just FOLD vs a 3-bet. That just doesn't happen.

Second of all, he limped UTG so his range never has a better hand (and only TT is better).

His range has a lot of PPs (55 is one of them) and possibly a lot of FDs (they limp suited aces). And of course the rare QQ-AA.

So with that in mind all I want to do is get max value vs him. If he folds he had a hand like he showed you.

So raise flop and look to go broke and count the money.

As a side note, based on this hand and others you posted, it seems that you have this fear that people will fold if you try to extract value. I believe this is a major leak and one that will prevent you from extracting value from your opponents in the long run.
