Hi,
This hand is really influenced by the deep historic between BB and UTG.
UTG is a strong looze agressive player that don't hesitate to 4b/5b.
Bec of the ICM I decided to play it on the passive side.
Grabbed by Holdem Manager
NL Holdem 16,000(BB), antes 2,000
Hero ($594,818)
BB ($907,015)
UTG ($904,072)
UTG+1 ($170,360)
UTG+2 ($135,846)
CO ($594,062)
BTN ($218,827)
Dealt to Hero T♥ T♦
UTG raises to $32,000, fold, fold, fold, fold, Hero calls $24,000, BB calls $16,000
FLOP ($110,000) 3♣ 7♣ 7♠
Hero checks, BB checks, UTG bets $44,000, Hero calls $44,000, BB raises to $108,000, UTG folds, Hero calls $64,000
On the flop I'd tend to see quite a lot of FD w/ 2OC, 88-99, but I know that his range is the more likely to have a 7x also.
TURN ($370,000) 3♣ 7♣ 7♠ 6♠
Here the situation is nearby the same except that 45s has completed the straight.
Hero checks, BB bets $159,100, Hero calls $159,100
RIVER ($688,200) 3♣ 7♣ 7♠ 6♠ K♥
Hero checks, BB bets $605,915 (AI), Hero ??
River :
Vilain has tank more than half his timebank and then shove.
the K
is one of the worst card bec if he has 88/99 in his range I think that he would prefer to check behind.
There is still some busted flush-draw but I'm not sure that there is enough combos to balance all the Kx and 7x here. Moreover my percieved range is quiet face up and I look commited so I'm not sure he could continue his bluff here...
The pot odd is attractive (23% in cEV) but the ICM isn't that pretty !
preflop :
Would you 3b TT here w/ an agressive CL that raise UTG ? would you 5b-broke ?
Turn-River :
should I find a c/f anywhere here ?
Could I c/c turn to c/f R ?
