Hero (SB): $79.45 (317.8 bb)
BB: $41.32 (165.3 bb)
UTG: $43.88 (175.5 bb)
MP: $91.52 (366.1 bb)
CO: $25 (100 bb)
BTN: $34.35 (137.4 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with K A
3 folds, BTN raises to $0.50, Hero raises to $1.87, BB folds, BTN calls $1.37

Flop: ($3.99) 5 J 6 (2 players)
Hero bets $2.50, BTN calls $2.50

Turn: ($8.99) 2 (2 players)
Hero bets $6, BTN calls $6

River: ($20.99) 5 (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $19.84, Hero folds

Results:

Spoiler

$20.99 pot ($1.15 rake)
Final Board: 5 J 6 2 5
Hero mucked K A and lost (-$10.37 net)
BTN mucked and won $19.84 ($9.47 net)

49 hands
VPIP/PFR/3B/AF/WTSD
23/15/4.5/0.8/43

PRF: Standard (plan was to call 4b in case xe does it)
Flop: Standard.
Turn & River: they are pretty much blanks. I don't like how I bet turn and give up the bluff on river. I think it'd have been either a bet flop and give up on blank or 3barrel. Otherwise I'm gonna just lose too much money like this, OOP, no info on oppo... etc.

What do you think?
(given the passivity and WTSD of the dude despite the only 49 hands I'd give up on the turn)

Hey AtrociousNightmare,

Preflop 3b for value is fine.

Flop is good.

Turn is good.

River x/f is fine here. We block many of the busted draws he can have by the river so pretty likely he holds some type of pair or backed in to a club-draw.

So you don't think it's a barrel once or 3barrel situation?
If no, why?

We still fold out any flop floats or marginal PP's with our 2barrel + it really doesn't need to work that frequently when we have ok pot-equity still.

I actually don't think a 3barrel is all that bad here, but I usually instinctively fire the hands with the best blockers and x/f the worst blockers to help regulate 3barrel frequencies a little.

Thank you that really helps (and sorry about the triple hand posting, didn't notice).
