SB: $29.43 (117.7 bb)
BB: $26.03 (104.1 bb)
UTG: $26.94 (107.8 bb)
MP: $28.14 (112.6 bb)
CO: $55.81 (223.2 bb)
Hero (BTN): $43.67 (174.7 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BTN with A T
2 folds, CO raises to $0.75, Hero calls $0.75, 2 folds

Flop: ($1.85) T A 8 (2 players)
CO bets $1.10, Hero calls $1.10

Turn: ($4.05) 4 (2 players)
CO bets $2.33, Hero calls $2.33

River: ($8.71) 5 (2 players)
CO bets $4.55, Hero calls $4.55

I feel that I should be raising flop here but at the time I didn't think that I can be raising flop then betting turn and river and get action with enough frequency. I know that I have the best hand a lot

Hi legand73

Preflop: looks fine

Postflop: you are CO vs BTn so people are looser... you also have top 2 so why don't we want to raise at some point, even if it's just the river?

Definitely raise flop here and go from there.

As I said I did consider raising but I wasn't sure if I were to get value from raising and then two streets of value after that as well. At any rate I do regret raising flop and then going from there.

You wanted to raise but ended up calling down which is the best way to lose max value.

Put him on a range and go from there. This is not the board that a player mucks Ax on.

Sure he folds Tx or Jj but you don't have more than 2 streets vs those anyway.
