I raise flop because of backdoor and also people usually overcbet Kxx dry board.
turn I think I would get 0% FE with standard cbet, which means that I should overbet or check? imo with overbet he can just :f_ugly: :f_ugly: with all pairs. Do you think he calls fd? Should I expect him to 3bet flop with all sets unless buttom which would make him more cappt?

i like the turnbet since he likely calls flop with a lot of medium strength underpairs or weakish Kx which are likely to hate life facing your sizing

however i dont think he is completely capped here (at least he def shouldnt be since otherwise he makes himself much too vulnerable to lines like yours)

I need around 55% FE, but since I also can improve and have great implieds then I need likely around 40%. And he should have enough of weak Kx, draws, weak pairs in range that folds vs that size. So my size isnt much larger than standard, but it is surely much more scary.

Hey GingerKid,

We have deeper stacks and can bluff-raise flop wider with position.

We rep a semi-narrow range, have deep stacks (and hence additional leverage) so turn sizing is fine here.

No problems, hand is played ok.

u have like 3% equity verse his kx hands on the flop

plenty of better hands to raise unless you only want to be folding < 10%

imo equity with backdoor stuff doesnt matter much. it is more about playability. I block KJ, KQ which is quite good, means I will have more FE on flop. ok I might block also some bluffs Jx, Qx which he can have more in range, but still blocking value range is more important since there are less value on flop.

I can improve my equity on turn with A, Q, J, T, still I wouldnt have great equity, but it helps improving overall EV, and on A, T I could +Ev barrel turn. I dont raise here nut bdfd, I just call them, because they are storng enough to flat. So I actually dont see many better hands to raise. What do you raise on this board?

The difference is the stack-depth i.e position + leverage. So while it's probably a little wide 100bb deep there is a reasonable argument for the line with these stacks.

blockers don't mean so much on the flop

Stack depth makes it worse imo. Position a little better.

The only cards one would want to barrel are 9,T.

Value hands BTN is raising, probably only 55, 33 = 6 combos

Easily better bluffs imo are:

A2s 4
A4s 4
76s 4
nut fd's 3
bd/nfd's 9
5x a5s, 75s, 65s, 54s 12
3x a3s 3

39 combos

if you want more hands to bluff 2 streets then in order:
Axo 12 combos
Axs (of hearts and clubs) 10 combos
bd/fd suited (spades )stuff that can turn gutshots, 86s, 78s, 98s, 97, 96s, QJs, QTs 7 combos

so thats another 30 combos

then stuff gets dodgey

any old bdfd 10 combos

after this, very dodgey

then no fd +stuff that can turn a straight draw (what u raised), about 10 combos.... 96s, 97s, 86s, 78s are all better than QJs, QJo as they can turn more straight draws (equity to straights is better than blockers)

and finally complete trash T:c:8:c stuff about 15 combos or 8% of BTN's range. Here we're raising everything that isn't being called and have no folding range.

The difference in equity/blockers between the complete trash and the step above is negligible

Wtih A2s, A4s, nut fds, nut bdfds, I would usually call flop and turn because I beat the bluffs which are probably the only hands that fold vs raise on so draw heavy board, and such bluffs anyway give up on turn, and hands are strong enough to call at this positions. 76s is a GS so it +EV to call flop, and very likely -EV to call turn which is why I would have it in turn raise range. 5x hands also imo strong enough to call flop, and likely to raise some of them on turn and check back river.

so on flop I dont raise hands which you suggest, and it off course depends on the style we play. I tend not to turn showdown hands into bluff allready on flop, but I turn them into bluff once they become too weak to call. Thats why I raise flop with hands like QJ, QT usually containing diamond, and if deep, then i raise wider because people will just puke vs aggression deep stack OOP.
