fold, fold, fold, fold, SB raises to 2.3 BB, Hero calls 1.3 BB

Flop: (4.6 BB, 2 players) 2♠ 3♥ 9♥

Spoiler

SB shows K♠ K♦ (One Pair, Kings) (Pre 68%, Flop 78%, Turn 80%)
Hero shows 9♣ A♣ (One Pair, Nines) (Pre 32%, Flop 22%, Turn 20%)
SB wins 140.38 BB

62% or SB. cbet 75%, folds 50% vs raise. Ok to raise here for protection, given how wide range he has? I guess it doesnt make sense to fold vs 3bet vs agro reg midstacker (he doubled)

Why not just call down on decent run downs?

My plan was to bet turn check river. So the idea is to protect Vs his wide range. Call down is standard, but i thought i have enough value for 2 streets.

I don't think raising flop is a big deal due to the protection element. I'm possibly calling by default though.

I think if we raise flop it's a raise/fold. I'm not sure he has enough 3b bluffs to make call/call +EV. Depends on villain though of course.
