Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

Play hand

$0.01/$0.02 No-Limit Hold'em (5 handed)

Known players:
[tg]BU$4.35:///////;SB$3.66:///////;BB (Hero)$6.04:///////;MP3$5.00:///////;CO$2.06:///////;[/tg]

Preflop: Hero is BB with J:d, J:h.
MP3 raises to $0.12, CO raises to $0.22, BU folds, SB calls $0.21, Hero calls $0.20, MP3 calls $0.10.

Flop: ($0.88) 7:s, 2:h, 4:c (4 players)
SB bets $0.02, Hero raises to $0.64, MP3 calls $0.64, CO folds, SB folds.

Turn: ($2.18) 6:d (2 players)
Hero checks, MP3 bets $1.43, Hero folds, MP3 gets uncalled bet back.

Final Pot: $2.18.

Ok in this hand the table dynamic was quite wild the hands before, with the player in the CO being a weak/fishy player in my estimation, being involved in a lot of hands definitely with a loose pf range and lots of value to be extracted from. The MP3 player, on the other hand I had marked as a tough reg with a value-inclined range that I had difficulties with previously. So, on the flop I raise to iso the weaker player and to get value from him if he has any piece of the board. His small pf 3b does not scare me too much (see above). Also, MP3´s flat most likely means he wants to play a pot with the fish, still he is going to have a decent hand of course. Now once MP3 calls my flop raise, I already feel like I am dead. And so I x/f turn. Hand overplayed? Just call flop instead? 4b/fold pre to iso the fish? Or just fine?

Hi,

I would prefer 4-bet/fold pre-flop, to isolate CO and possible get all-in against him.
If MP 5-bets or shoves then likely you can fold, since his range is very often KK/AA.
As played: i like your flop raise for value and I can´t put MP directly on set (I think he would 4-bet pre-flop QQ-AA).
There are a lot more combos 88-TT than sets which might play the same way, so you should be ahead enough times to take c/c line.
If he puts you all-in on the turn then folding is fine

best regards,
