AQs vs 3bet

Defending range is fine, Can likely be fine to defend wider.

River is burning money more than likely. Simple rule at these limits ---> 3barrels heavily weighted toward value so we can exploitatively fold all our bluffcatchers. So unless we expect him to be 3barreling KQ for value (unlikely) then this is a river fold.

Our intention in calling preflop is not to pick of a river 3barrel with a bluffcatcher. It's to take the pot away from our opponent on flop or turn after he checks. Flopping a made hand a facing a ton of action is just the 2nd prize, most of our profit comes from getting villain to fold.

I am aware of that, and thats the reason I am calling. Just I am wondering, how it is +EV in practice. It could be that:

1) villian cbets only value on flop and gives up all bluffs, and we call twice and fold river, in that case imo we burn money
2) villian cbets all bluffs and value flop, gives up some bluffs on turn and some on river, and since he has tight range, he doesnt give up often enough, and we dont hit the board often enough, so that we play the hand +EV
3) villian gives up some % of bluffs on all streets, so that we dont hit often enough and he doesnt give up often enough to be +ev (all combined)

Maybe I am too pesimistic about this spot, but I cant see huge profit with broadways, just maybe marginal. imo PP should be easier to play and higher EV when deep enough?
