Hero (BTN): $3.26
SB: $2.16
BB: $2.97
UTG: $2.05
MP: $2.40
CO: $1.05

Pre Flop: ($0.03) Hero is BTN with A :spade: A
3 folds, Hero raises to $0.06, SB calls $0.05, 1 fold

Flop: ($0.14) 9  K  7 :diamond: (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $0.08, SB calls $0.08

Turn: ($0.30) 9 :spade: (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $0.22, SB calls $0.22

River: ($0.74) 8 :club: (2 players)
SB bets $0.35, Hero calls $0.35

My thoughts:

Pre.F: Standard
Flop: Perhaps bet a little higher
Turn: Paired board isn't a huge concern but there is some 9x in opponent's range, still... probably should have gone a little higher bet?
River: Usually when opponents donk rivers at these stakes they have overpairs beat, but his particular sizing is low. If he had bet close to pot I would have folded. In this specific hand he just showed up with a busted flush draw, but is this river ever a fold? Is it ever a raise?

I would have played the same way. I think even the bet sizes are okay. If villain had overbet river I would have folded also but anything smaller than pot is a call imo. I wouldn't raise here cause there are many hands in his range that beat us.

Hi.
I would bet slightly more on the flop (about 0,10-0,11$). Then turn seems fine and river sucks because you're usually behind after his bet but you have to call it with these odds. Well played in my opinion.
Just my view.
Good Luck :f_drink:

Hi,

Since backdoor straights got there and since players usually doesn´t lead with Kx hands I think just calling is fine. If river was blank (like 2x) then you may consider raising, since he may then b/c his Kx hands, but here I doubt he is leading too often hands that has showdown value.

Best regards,
