Villain is unknown

OTR: Should I make a thin value bet and donk here since I chop all worse AX that aren't AK , A9 or A6. So my thinking is that I should give villain the opportunity to make a crying call will a hand < TP?

Obviously if the Turn is not a K then I don't think it would be a good spot to donk b/c there are more AX that beat me?

i think it's ok as played. villain's turn bet is "polarized" and as far as his actual holding is conerned he played the hand terribly

Cheers Tomaloc,

but just to clarify which do you think is going to be more +EV in the long run?

x/c line or donk bet fold?

definitely x/c. don't forget that he can check behind a bunch of his Kx- on the turn and his range is uncapped

So, in other words: you think since he didn't check behind OTT that would indicate that he doesn't have many (or shouldn't do at least) hands with SDV that he wants to get there as cheaply as possible IP. Therefore his range is more polarized (i.e air -> the 2pr+ type hands), so we should be more inclined to bluff induce?

Sorry to peck your head on this one, just like to be crystal clear and to see whether I am comprehending well.

Cheers :f_thumbsup:

yes, i wouldn't expect him to be valuebetting less than Kx good kickers ott. he should mostly have Ax+ (Ax, AK, 6x, sets) and air (gs, fd, randomhands), so against that range it's clearly better to bluffcatch river.
